I just came across the August Car & Driver full review of the new G37. Pretty good review but I was surprised at the performance figures that were finally released. 0-60 5.3, 1/4 mile 13.9, stop from 70 164ft. Pretty close figures to the IS350 and the G37 is putting out 330hp.

wow 3700 lbs that's why it doesn't perform better than IS350 in the 0-60.... that's almost 200 lbs more. So it's like having an extra guy or two really skinny girls in your IS LOL.

Z/G cars are pretty notorious for not producing the HP Nissan claims. The 300hp Z gets trounced by the IS350 and 335.
Lexus is known to be strait up dead on with hp and BWM tends to rate there’s a little low.

The G37 coupe is bloated, it looks more like a 4 dr sedan than a coupe. I think infiniti strayed too far from their concept.![](http://www.speedsportlife.com/photopost/data/927/thumbs/01_Infiniti_Coupe_Concept.jpg)

What happened to that?^^^
Lexus got it right with the IS (minus the lack of 6spd manny tranny)

I dont think its that they strayed, I just think its that they got cheap and wanted to use more of the existing G35 coupes parts. Look at that thing! The 08 looks dead on like the 07. I wouldnt be able to tell them apart until I got inside and see how they thankfully changed that hideous interior they had with those old school orange lights!

Looks way better than G35 but still lacking that power it should have.
I dont get the 1/4 mile time its getting, cause the 335i's and is350's are getting low 13's with about the same amount of HP/TQ
