open season on IS
so i guess it really is open season on our IS. several people have been posting about their recent accidents n such, n i didn't wanna feel left out so i decided to get rear ended today on this beautiful southern california saturday.
was on the 110 north in the carpool lane in bumper to bumper traffic. i came to a stop and looked at my rear view mirror and noticed a black car that wasn't slowing down. i yelled out STOP STOP STOP!!! by then i knew it was too late and just braced for impact. the driver finally noticed and slammed on his brakes. screeech... crash! the FIRST thing that came to my mind was... ***! not my tom's rear!!! hahah. asked my passengers if they were ok. got out and surveyed the damage. it didn't seem like there was much damage considering the impact that i just felt. but there's probably stuff i can't see. the other car looked much worse than my car too but i think it was sorta already falling apart before the accident. everybody in both cars were ok. got his insurance and registration info... the guy didn't have his driver's license with him! he said he just came from the beach and left his license in his friend's backpack. considered calling the cops but after reading joonsta's thread, decided the cops probably wouldn't have come out since nobody was injured. i guess i'll call my insurance and report it to them monday. i'm just so irked cuz i just got my car back 2 weeks ago from the bodyshop and now back it goes! but then i'm lucky that it wasn't worse than it is and nobody was hurt. and my tom's lip only suffered some minor scuffs n scratches. damn... only got to enjoy it for 2 weeks!

Glad to see you guys ok but good thing the TOMs rear didn't suffer more damages than that. Let me know how much the fix will be because I rear ended a few months back and theres a minor scrape in the rear.

good thing you yelled stop and the driver heard you and slammed on the brakes earlier!
Yeah, I would hate that helpless feeling of seeing the accident about to happen and there's nothing you can do....
Damage looks to be minor and good thing everybody is okay.

man he barely miss your skirt, that sucks. I remember getting hit from behind and i came out on top cause i was able to paint both front and rear bumpers + 100 bucks.

Everyone was okie which is good.
TOM'S rear skirt !!! that sad...really sad..
Something like that it always happen when people got good and rare stuffs which really want to enjoy . That moment even start it yet.. Oh Crap!!! something happen.
