Front bumper not flush with headlights - Anyone else??
I've got a 2007 IS350, and noticed today that the front OEM bumper isn't 100% flush against the bottom of the headlights. It seems there is a 4-7mm space between the bottom of the headlight and the top of the bumper. It seems worse on the driver headlight then passanger.
I looked at a co-workers IS250 and he also isn't 100% flush, but better than mine.
I've seen this before on other cars but didn't expect this on a Lexus, maybe a Toyota/Honda. If it wasn't 100% flush, I'd expect some sort of rubbering between to keep a tight seal to prevent rain and other elements from going inside.
Anyone else have this issue?

I will soon as I get off work and acquire my camera. It's not a very big gap, but certainly big enough for rain to fly into while driving. It's less than 1cm (10mm), my estimate would be about 5-7mm. (.5cm-.7cm)

Mine isn't flush either. But it doesn't bother me. You can't even tell, unless you are staring at it.
You do realize that Lexus is a Toyota right?
The gap will not affect the vehicles performance whatsoever. The bumper is plastic, you can remove it and try to realign it.

Oh I completely understand it wont affect performance. And I do know Toyota is Lexus, but I expected Lexus to keep an eye out for the "smaller" details such as this. If most all IS's have this, I dont see why Lexus didn't get some rubber door edging to fill the gap.
I'm going to be going to my Lexus dealer today to see what they say. I'm a perfectionist, so although it isn't noticable unless upclose, it does bother me knowing the OEM bumper isn't a 100% flush fit. I can expect this out of an aftermarket bumper, but not OEM

Mine isn't flush too. Incidentally I see the same thing in my Acura MDX. Honestly I was hoping Lexus did a little better quality control than this but I'm not too bothered by it.

Update: I took it to my dealer and they refused to "make it flush". They tried to give me a story of how I must have scooted up on a curb, or someone "leaned" on my car do to do. They recommended I take it to a bodyshop to get it re-aligned and make sure none of the clips were bent.
Very dissapointed with my dealers service department. I may either try another dealer which I didn't buy my car from, pay $100 to a bodyshop to realign it, or just invest the time myself to get it done.
If we can get enough people who agree there's isn't flush, maybe it's possible to contact Lexus about this issue for a TSB?
