To fully appreciate the matador red, you have to see it in person. Your tongue will drop.

My wife and I went to one Lexus dealer in Houston and saw one on the lot early on a Saturday morning as the sun was coming up. We must have stared at it for at least 20 minutes in total silence. The only reason why I didn't buy it was because it didn't have the navigation system.

My first pick was Matador Red and Cashmere interior but the lead-time was 14 weeks so I went with Black and Beige.
Now I am feeling gutted that I didn't wait :s

Yeah the red ones are rare. I spent a good long time trying to find one. I was told only 123 red IS350s were produced in 2007. Not sure how many 250s were made in that color or if it's proportional to the number of 350s.
