On the LS600hL, the grill and trunk badges has a blue "glow" to it (but there is no light).



I was thinking of getting that for the IS (since mine is Breakwater Blue), just for something different.

What do you guys think?

Actually looks kind of strange. If it did glow uniformly from behind that would make more sense. And if it also glowed on the outside of the "L" would help. It just looks like a poor Photoshop effect as it stands now.

Last month, while in Thailand, I saw something similar to this; however, it was on a Mazda and the implementation was better. It had a white light or aura if you will around the entire Logo. Not much help now, but next time I get out that way I'll try and investigate a bit further.

I think it looks neat, accentuates the L logo.

Interesting. I think it would probably look better in person. Phil, did you have to use any special angles or flash for the blue to show up like that? Is the blue less pronounced at other angles?
