Features in other Lexus that you'd want in the IS...
Which options will be available for the IS that's a carryover from another Lexus? What would you like that the IS doesn't have yet, yet is available to Lexus?
My Top Three suggestions:
1) Advanced Parking System (aka Automatic Parallel Parking) from the LS460.
2) Retractable hardtop from the SC430 (c'mon Lexus, let's see it already!!! ). If not, the glass roof of the Ultra-Lux ES350.
3) The hybrid system of the GS450h.
Discuss. We know Lexus has the technology and engineering. Perhaps such ideas will trickle down to the IS real soon...

In Taiwan it's a little bit different.
I wish the IS in Taiwan would come with NAV. (Yes, Taiwan doesn't have NAV in any of the IS's.)
I wish Taiwan would have the IS350. Y(es, Taiwan doesn't have the IS350's)
I wish Taiwan would have LPS. (Again, Taiwan doesn't have that service.)
I wish the IS had self-park like the LS. (That would be sweet.)
I wish the IS had power door closers and trunk opener.

I'm not limiting to options available in other Lexus cars:
Warrionex
- bigger lcd screen with anti-scratch coating (higher resolution)(standard equip.)
- A PC or Apple like system to control everything (must have Windows Explorer or something similar)
- Music playback by Winamp
- Creative X-Fi 24-bit Crystalizer to enhance or rebuilt MP3s
- swappable harddrive
- USB, Firewire and eSata inputs
- Universal mp3 player synchronization with an universal docking station (discreetly hidden in the center compartment.)
- voice music selection
- I want my car to greet me everyday in the morning with a custom different message. (Example: "Good morning my master, what is thy bidding?) (My answer: play "Miles Davis - Flamenco Sketches.mp3" and after that, play all of my mp3's in the brazilian directory)
- I also want my car PC to inform the daily and weekly schedule and info about the daily local and national news, etc.
- Advanced security system with video cameras shooting both the inside and the sides of the car. Viewing must be 360 degrees in the inside. I want to caught the son of the ______, who intentionally scratch my car.
- A movement and temp sensor to detect when a child was left negligently but unintentionally inside the car. When a dangerous temp hits the trigger, the windows will automatically open just enough to keep an acceptable temperature. No child should die anymore of this situation. The system will immediately send you a text or a voice message to your cellphone. It could also send a pic of the inside of the car to your phone. This system will be off by default. When you first start the car the system will ask whether you want this feature be activated or not. Of course, if the child is sleeping without any movement the system won't do much.
- Definitely, the hybrid option is a must (no less than 44 mpg city)

I did wish memory seats came standard. Seems kind of silly to charge it as part of a really expensive package... I admit, I completely missed that point when I first shopped for the car and didn't notice it didn't have it until late in the negotiation process. Oops.
I also wish the side mirrors would fold given how large they are.
Not sure if a hybrid makes sense in the IS, or a small sports sedan in general. The weight gain would be a significant portion of the car, offsetting a lot of performance, handling, and fuel economy. The Prius gets away with it because it's not meant to go fast. It makes sense for the LS and GS because those cars are already heavy so getting 3 or 4 more MPG on an 18 MPG car is significant. Gaining the same amount on a car that already gets 25, 27 MPG and adding several hundred pounds isn't as attractive. And the hybrid would really kill the trunk space of the IS...
