from what i was told AME is a marketing company who gets their wheels manufactured by enkei, which is what is confusing me. Is AME selling them under thier name at all, or is it enkei or both? is thier a price between the AME and ENKEI? anyway........
either way both are nice, just depends on what center cap you want to rock

OMG those are the wheels that im thinking of getting for mi IS. are those Hyper Silver or black? how much? where did you get them? what's the gap between fenders and tires if you only have the sport suspension and haven't add any aftermarket suspension.
can you provide a close up picture to see how flush is the wheel w/the fender.
thanks!

I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt for now, though, that the bottlneck for getting these wheels (since they were apparently the first set of sapphire blacks ordered) was the manufacturer.
I did go in knowing it would be a long wait, and I did think there was a good chance of a delay... but I still thought I would have my wheels by the end of June. I can't say I'm very happy with this experience, but life goes on. As long as there are no further delays or problems with the wheels, I won't complain.

There are a few reasons why those 19" rims look small.
First, the angle the shot was taken at has a little bit of an effect on the look.
Second, I think the rims' design makes an optical illusion and makes them look small.
And lastly, the car isn't dropped, which makes rims look smaller than they are.

Yeah, lips obviously make rims look smaller than the same sized ones without lips.
But do you notice how the design is made so that the rims cave in at the middle?
Only the outer part of the rims seem to be sort of flush with the tire walls.
This concave design makes the rims look smaller than other 19" rims.
Oh, and I forgot to say...those are some stylish rims, OP .
If those rims were a girl, I'd hit it.

I too have the Michelin PS2's, which I replaced the OEM Dunlops at 18k. You guys are right in that the Michelin's are a bazillion times better. First thing I noticed when I got them was how quiet and more responsive they are. Then after a few fun roads I realized just how much more they stick to the road. Oh they are also lighter than most other tires. Only downside with these are the price.
Back on topic.. The Enkei wheels look HOT!! They have a Lexus look to them and fit the car very well. How much and where did you get them? Do you have springs or stock suspension?

I got them from Japan and I am still using stock suspension (TEIN CS + EDFC ordered).
