Rvinyl Redout on a Tungsten Pearl IS350
Finally decided to give the ole' red-out a try. I ordered the Rvinyl ones and they showed up at my door 3 days later. For installation, I did the dry method, which was combfilters suggestion. I cleaned the tail lights with rubbing alcohol mixed with water. I then just worked from the trunk side towards the front of the car while slowly using a credit card working out any air bubbles as it was applied. Seems to have worked perfectly.

Thanks Comfilter! I think the Tanabe look pretty good too. Just wish they could do the full exhaust with x pipe instead of just this bolt on axle back.
Ben_r.. yeah I agree the redouts do look good on any color. After seeing just how much better they look in person I couldn't resist any longer. haha

Hmm... redouts... hmm... should i go along with the crowd... should i be a non-conformist that way i'll be the unique one... i dunno, i kinda like the amber among all the red of the lens...

thanks for sharing, now I know what mine will look like if I do it... that's real subtle though. From a distance can you really notice much of a difference? I might do it since it's only a few bucks ... and you can always peel them off if it gets old right? After all on my MR2 I even went to the trouble of spray painting the amber turn signal bulbs silver (they went in a clear silver housing and still lit up amber) to get a cleaner look. OK maybe I just convinced myself to do it.
