You have my attention...

But the only issue I see is that the DRL's also work with the high beams, so where does that leaves us? Do the LEDS get "brighter" with high beams or do they just stay the same?

I'd doubt it, when you go for a safety inspection or w/e you call it in your neck of the woods, switch back to the stock, course i goto 'uncles' shop so... its not what you know, its who you know

Yea with LED's i dont think theres 2 settings YET, i may be wrong, but it appears that many of us have ordered that 1watt LED version from warden_jp2002 on ebay, go here to read the details:

BUT these are new so its an unknown till someone test's it out.

it sounds like it'll work, but im way too worried about my headlights fogging up to mod my headlights in anyway. hell i didnt want to change my bulb--that's why i wanted to blue tint my headlight and fog housings. i never ended up doing it, just my fogs to get a little whiter look with less hassle. but hey you guys can probably convince me to do it. how is the installation done?

This is just for the DRL/hi-beam and the instructions are in the manual.

For fogs thou, there is a DIY in the DIY section of the forum and i have some updated notes on fog installs here, 4th post down:
