At this moment, I'm actually looking to get me some prosumer SLR and maybe you can help me decide.

My final choices are between Canon Digital Rebel XTi (Canon 400D) and Nikon D40x. I did my research and the decision is extremely difficult. There are various package or kits that includes lenses but I don't have the slightest idea what basic lens I need just for starters.

Any help, anyone?

Nice pics! Car looks great!

I just picked up the Cannon XSI. There is a thread over in the Photography thread. I have read great things about it and seem to be more then a great starter camera! I just got it a few days back and havent had time to play with it yet but would be more then happy to answer any questions. PM me if I can be of help.

Thanks for sharing the pics!

Hombre, no se como no vi esto el ano pasado, pero muy bien hecho - representando a Borinquen!!!

Man, I can tell you exactly where most of these pics were taken... I gotta go back, it's been too long since I was on the island.

agreed. I love it there. I used to go every year to visit my family but I havent had the time lately. Maybe later in the summer I will take a trip down there.

You'll be fine with either one, if you haven't decided already. The cameras both extremely similar, and both take great pictures. Just go to a store and play with them. Pick the one that feels best in your hands, and is most comfortable to shoot with. You won't find any technical issues that will make one superior over the other. The one thing I am jealous of Nikonians is that there's much more high quality glass available for much lower prices than the Canon system.

Excellent pics!!! I have that same Sony 7.2 and I need to re-adjust my settings. Sharp looking clean ride and as I have stated in the past, I love the X-Package wheels. You keep your vehicle clean.
