On a side note, (not trying to steal the thread) how hard is it to come by a base is250.
It is for my GF and she is on vacation this week. I will PM you as this may be a good plan. She is in the Clear Lake area so that would be preferable if they will deal.

That's cool. Only thing is others have responded that a base 250 maybe hard to come by, so that may put me out of the market.

To answer the others' ?'s, yes it is price that is the major determinant. Sadly, this car base is on the upper part of my price range. I have a budget of 30K with ttl. If it goes over that, no deal. If 30K is not a reasonable price for a readily ava. (one on the lot with the least options) "stripped" model, what is?

PS the site is great! You guys respond quickly n r super nice!!

You might want to try contacting Kristen Barley at Lexus of Clear Lake. Not sure if she can cut any crazy deals or not, but I know for sure she'll do all she can to meet your needs. Tell her that Brian in Dallas sent you her way.

Don't think you have a prayer to get a new IS with TTL at $30k. That means a price of about $27,500 before TTL. Tough to do, esp. in Houston.

It might be wishful thinking but I'm going try. Plus I have $20K+ trade-in S2000. That means taxes should equal ~$600.

What is the price that I will be looking at for a "stripped" on the lot IS250? (B4 ttl)
