Default Daytime/Nightime pics of DRL's/PL/FOG's BULB

Well, I've been reading alot and I see that people are using.. LED's.. LED die toooooooo quick.. So installing one of these suckers every couple of weeks or months is a pain in the neck. So I decided to look for some bulbs..

I went with ... for the Parking Light with PIAA HyperWhite GTX..
for the Daytime Runnin Lights with Nokya 8500k Purple
and Nokya 2500k Hyper Yellow for the Fogs

DRL

NIGHTIME PICS WOULD BE POSTED LATER ON TONIGHT.. WHEN IT GETS DARK... BUT HERE IS THE DAY TIME FOR NOW..

I don't know where you heard that LEDs die too quick but I have switched all of the bulbs in my IS to LED and none have died so far after almost a year.

The only thing I dont like about that is that the glass is blue which makes the dome blue.

^Agreed. LED bulb life is WAAAAY longer than a standard halogen light bulb - that's one of the biggest (and often most overlooked) advantages of using LED's, along with lower power consumption and the "cooloer" look.

Well, then I must have been reading wrong.. because I thought the heat of the engine and all that kill the led's which caused flickering and all that..

Interior would work perfect. but I dont know too much about the exterior..(headlights)

oh BTW you would probably have to replace those Nokya 8500k Purple in a few weeks. The 2500ks last alot longer, but since the 8500k's are constantly on they would definately burn out faster.

Thanks for the advice.. I didnt know that..

but If I dont use Highbeam, which I dont at all.. and its only on during the day (DRL).. and it uses less power.. I think I should be fine???? Lets see how long they last me..

by the way, the 2500's last me about 1yr plus on my old car.. never had a problem. I have a pair just incase aswell...

very nice! I was wondering what kind of bulb do you guys use for DRL? What brand? and How to install?

As for fog light...i'm thinking of blue overlay =) Since the chance of me, being a Los Angeles resident, actually use the fog light when its needed is pretty slim, I guess blue overlay is not too bad eh? throw me ur $0.02 =)
