haha I was watching that same show and saw the same commercial. I thought it was pretty sweet!

 

I'm sure they had Traction Off and VSC Off for the warehouse shoot!!

Overall I loved the marble ball commerical!!!

Ice Road truckers is just plain sick.. they are drving on a road that is cracking underneath them and/or will melt in just a few months...

Has anyone seen the new Lexus IS commercial? It's the one where a black IS is balancing a silver ball all around the car and then at the end it does a 180 so the driver can catch the ball in his hands....

Just saw it on Bravo channel... can't seem to find it online though.

Here are some screencaps courtesy of yours truly, specifically of the IS 250 AWD marbles ad. This is the only new IS ad I've seen; the other new Lexus ads have been for the USGA.

"The Lexus IS can handle just about any surface...even thousands of surfaces."





The beginning and the whole marble motif is an homage to the 1992 ES "Ball Bearing" commercial, just as the recent LS 460 "Pyramid" commercial is an homage to the champagne glasses 1989 LS 400 "Balance" commercial.

"So not only does the ES look like it's put together well, it actually is...put together well."

I saw the new one with the one ball bearing last night during The Tonight Show, so it's not just on the History channel, etc.. Implausible, but interesting!
