Now how does this promote performance? It looks like it's just for looks:

That's what I was thinking too. It's steep to pay $240 for that little piece. When I heard "Air Dam", I was thinking something like an air scoop or something where it would somehow force more air into the engine compartment or intake. That's good to know. Now, I won't have to worry on getting it.

makes the front look better, but it is the first part that is going to get damaged in my experince.
