Default went over a curb!

I was looking for a parking spot and was carelessly making a right turn. When making a right turn, my right rear wheel didn't clear and went over a curb. Ruined my night. I was going slow but this never happens to me. Hopefully the wheel is still aligned...

there's no body or wheel damage. so if i show you pics, you won't notice any difference.

The same thing happened to me last week at school, and my car drives fine.

Unless you have stiffer springs or battered shocks, I don't see why you should worry.

That's very good to hear.

Anyways, I ordered the red out overlays this weekend. Can't wait to put them on!

Not to be a jerk but if there is no damage why tell us? The only thing that you have told us with this post is that at times you drive your car without paying attention.

The OP and I have only owned our IS' for a several months.

This means that we're paranoid about every inch we take in our cars.

So if we go over curbs and make loud "THUMP" noises, we want assurance.

We want pros like lobuxracer to whisper into our ears and tell us that everything's gonna be alright.

And that's why the OP opened this thread. He needed some support and some e-hugs.

He was apparently looking for feedback as to whether running over the curb might have thrown his car out of alignment.

Oh man sorry to hear that. I'm sure your IS is fine. How long after purchase will the dealer realign wheels for free?

well in seattle they are very flexiable i went in for my 5k service and i told them i wanted them to see if the wheel needed some realigning and he said he will have the tech look at it and they did and they said it had to be done so they did it and they said that i can come in anytime and it done for free...i dont think they will do it for free when i get rims on tho

First wk i had my IS i curbed my passenger rear rim turning right into my neighborhood shopping center that ive gone to ALL MY LIFE... Thats when i learned how tight the IS can make a turn, turn the wheel and the fronts turn and the back just pivots on the spot... nothing major, nothing worth crying over just a lesson learned.
