tinting 4 windows 70%, wht about back %?
hey guys I am getting V-Kool 70% for all the side windows. Personally I don't like to see the rear windows darker than front on a sedan that's why I decided that way.
because of the curvature of rear window the installer is going to use another charcoal tint for the back.. (he said v-kool isn't suitable for rear)
Another member here have the same and the back 35% What do you think is 35% too dark to match the side 70%? I am worried the auto dim mirrors won't work properly.
The sun seem to be blasting on our rear windows straight onto the rear speakers/sub and rear seat head rests, so maybe 35% about 50% solar energy rejection would be ideal for the back.

I don't know about V-cool, but most tints are specified by the amount of light admitted, not blocked. Allowing 70% through seems to me to be like not having tint at all. Why bother? Or, do you mean 30%?

I think the 35% would be just fine on the back. Or, if you have the Lux version with the sunshade, you could just use that a lot (but, I'd go with the tint.)

I think this is the most confusing thread about tints I've read in a while...you're looking too far into it! Don't worry about anything...just get a tint, and you'll love it!
