Formula One Pinnacle, Huber Optik, Madico, they're all supposedly good.

Among those selections, probably none are significantly better than the others.

So go with whatever that sets you back less.

Tint... just go with what you like to match your car best or what you like best, smoke or mirror.

Dont listen to 'they' cuz 'they' will all give different answers, just go look around for price and style you like/style that matches your car best. The IS windows are factory tint with UV blocking init already, not saying to go with cheep either, but dont worry when 'they' say its best.

Theres one shop in hawaii that i goto all the time with all my cars and they use 'supreme'... what does that mean? i dunno, i just never had any problems with it. Just goto your fav shop that you goto with all your other cars. If your a noob to owning a car/tinting a car, rather than ask what brand of tint is good... ask:

What shop does good tint jobs, then pick from their stock.

what ever you do, do not get dyed tint. always get the metallic type tint. doesnt fade like ink does (the purple tint). it costs more but worth it in the long run.

The tinter that I used said that full metalic will affect the AM Radio. I havnt herd that ceramic will affect the smart key, best choice would be to contact your dealer if it really concewerns you, I would do it just to be safe

Do you to go 6 AutoSound? My family goes there and they use Johnson. I've never had any problems with the tint. I had the ceramic tint on my BMW, but I went with 5% in the rear and 15% in the front for my IS.

i've noticed some what of the effects to my smart key. it takes a second longer to open the door with the metallic tint but not enough to deter me from getting the metallic tint. never fades or cracks. ahvent heard too much about cermaic tint though.

Naww i actually go to California Tint. They charge 155 for the titanium tint.
I'm stuck in Norcal right now. I was planning on getting tint here but tint shops here are charging 270-320 bucks. Gonna get it done when i get back home.

I thought i read some time ago in another forum that the metallic would interfere with our nav system. Does anyone know if thats true or not?

Ceramic affects nothing. Go with ceramic, end of story.
