navigation screen default ??

I dont think this has been a recent topic..but is there any way to make a screen other than the navigation one? My wife's old RX300 would stay onwhatever you put it on..be it climate, audio, info, menu... or anything else it had...i dont remember the other options

info then screen settings then automatic transition to off

I have it turned off but every time I reverse (the backup camera comes on) it goes back to the navi screen no matter what screen I had it on just before I put the car in reverse. Is there a way to change that?
