Default IS-F trunk lid

i was wondering if anyone knew if the lexus dealerships or if anyone was selling the IS-F trunk lid spoiler... I have the OEM spoiler at the moment but i think the IS-F spoiler will match the Lexon roof spoiler better...

I almost ordered the stock lip when Sewell had their group buy last month. I keep hoping that this one will become available when the F comes out.

Not trying to be a wanna-be. I just think it looks good and is different from the stocker.

I agree - the IS-F trunk lid spoiler is the one I want, but it won't be available for some time. The IS-F itself won't be released until the very end of this year, and parts for new cars usually take a while to hit the market.

Yea but really... That thing is so subtlety different than the current stock one it would hardly be worth the probable 500 bucks it would cost you to get!

if you have the stock spoiler than you should have holes that the ISF spoiler wont cover... just another thing you should think about before buying! i guess you can always plug it.. but is it worth the time and money??

The IS-F trunk spoiler is not at all similar or "subtly different" than the current IS spoiler - unless you think all spoilers look the same. The IS-F trunk spoiler sits atop the trunk lid (kinda like an M3 spoiler), where as the current IS spoiler goes down so much it needs a cutout for the center emblem. They're completely different:

Oh, and I won't have to worry about holes, because I don't have the OEM spoiler...

Wow, I think the spoiler is perhaps the least tacky thing about the whole car....it's like bizarro world!

Usually the spoiler is the most tacky part of riced up cars...

There has been talks for a long time about an "F" line of parts. I wouldn't be surprised if the decklid spoiler will be one of the first available items.

i think the ISF looks really good, but i realize that it looks more like an owner modded the car on his/her own with a body kit, larger wheels, and a drop. it doesn't compare with cars like the corvette that look more exotic and less like they had tuner body parts bolted on. but the ISF really isn't supposed to resemble an exotic. it's designed to compete with the m3 which is also not designed to look like a car built solely for performance reasons. they fit into the evo/sti look. btw, the ISF spoiler looks good, but i like the regular IS spoiler better since it hangs off the end of the trunk.

I totally agree. If rice is your thing (ala evo/sti) then this car is right up your alley. If I decided to buy a car like this for performance I would totally de-mod it and remove all the look-at-me parts for a more subdued look. Then I would have the ultimate sleeper.

Cars that look normal (slow) and go fast > cars that look fast and go fast > cars that look fast and go slow > cars that look ridiculous, sound even worse, and can't get out of their own way

IMO, but I guess I'm just different like that.
