its because each saleen is built to the customer dimensions and specs. Soo its a basic custom built car for you.

mine was on the warehouse lot, newly unloaded with the other car that i had been waiting for to come in. they placed two all plastickied up cars next to each other. a Lux Breakwater Blue and the X-Package TP. the TP just looked so much more agressive than the BWB/Beige and the ground effects sealed the deal for me. i drove the TP back to the actual dealership and it was a wrap. all my friends called me asking if i got it yet and i was like no, my parents won't let me. then the next morning i rolled into my school parking lot and they all stared at me. one of the greatest memories i have from high school.

When I was in high school I was rolling on a Schwinn Varsity, helping my friends fix their cars, working a P/T job to save for my own, and begging my parents to let me borrow one of their cars on evenings and weekends.

To me- buying a car off a showroom floor is like buying a used car, even if it wasn't actually driven. I'm pretty obsessive about my car though - I drive with gloves on - so I definitely wouldn't want others touching my steering wheel.

hahah thats how mines went too...when i rolled in to scholl hella heads turned...even the security gaurd came up to talk to me about my car. None of the teacher even had a lexus..the best car on the lot was a 2007 landcruzer lol... But the other fun thing was the next day i drove my dads boxer to school that he just got from the dealership every was in awww.
