Default Tpms Question!

So I do not have the tire sensors on my aftermarket rims, basically they wont fit and I dont want to bother with them braking if I hit a dip!
So I was reading other posts and people said to dump the sensors on my spare tire in the trunk.
Is this easy to do? Will the dealer do it for me for a fee or do I have to make some type of air vessel and then calibrate the sensors to that?
Im tired of the check system light, its been almost a year now!!
Advice please!!

There is a thread that have a solution on mounting the tpms. Search for iforged tpms, or call D2 one of the vendor here for more information.

Don't take it to dealer I don't think that they will do it because next year it will become a law to have tpms. just go to a regular tire shop tell them to
take the spare tire out and put the sensors inside the tire fill the tire to the correct pressure, after that reset the tpms and you are done

So will a tire shop already know how to reset the sensors?
I thought the dealer had some kind of machine to reset them with, but if a tire shop can them Im going there asap?

Y would you want to reset your sensor? Did you damage it and replace it with the new one? If not I think it should work without reseting them.

I dont mean reset sry, I mean what does the tire shop do? attach them to the spare tire in my trunk and thats it? I thought theres some type of calibrating or setting them to the spare tire, maybe thats a dumb question but I just want to know before I call my local tire shop, or should they know what to do already?

My dealer suggested I use the second setting option to disable the TPMS.
That is my plan when I put snows on for the winter. Dealer said he could talk me through the menu changes

Sorry to break it to you, but you must have actual sensors somewhere in the car, the second setting will not bypass not having the sensors installed...

there is a thread where you just put them into a pressure sealed pvc tube. it's weighs nothing and will do the job. Sorry I am not sure what seach string to put in to find that thread. I know it said something like "my solution to tpms" so search for that as a start
