Default is camber kit necessary

Seriously thinking about dropping on the eibach pro kit but was wondering if a camber kit is really necessary and if any kit is avaliable. If you dont do camber adjustment, how soon to expect the tires to go bad.

My other question is why do you guys when lowering the vehicle only do springs and not springs/shock combo or coilovers.

im lowered with tein ss coilovers. when i got the alignment done I asked them about the camber issue they said its not bad enough to wear out the tires. not noticable at least.

Unfortunately there is no camber kit for any 2IS, and because of the type of suspension, it's going to be expensive when it does come out.

really, then how about performance shocks? Wouldnt that be recommended over stock shock and aftermarket springs?

I'm not following the question. How do you mean "how about performance shocks"? It doesn't make sense to me if you are asking about camber changes.

There are lots of threads about complete spring and shock changes as well as springs with OEM shocks. Exactly what do you want to know?

Actually, there is a camber kit out for the 2IS. I forgot the company but I made a thread on it a while back on it.

This one? It says IS300, not IS250 or 350, and looking at this part, I can't see how it would adjust camber on the 2IS. I'm reasonably familiar with the suspension since I am looking into how to do this right.

The vendor does appear to have other solutions for other cars, just not a 2IS.

Right, but they're not listed in his store. And if the part looks anything like the picture I don't see how it works. There are no ball joints (except the toe control link and the #2 control arm) in the ISx50 rear suspension that I can see, and the thing pictured is a ball joint. The existing ball joints are not possible to remove, they're integral to the arm. You have to buy the whole piece to replace them.
