I've got an occasional rattle that is coming from that general area (though it is passenger side), but I think it is the handle above the rear passenger-side window.
It's the only unwanted sound that is coming from the vehicle...

Dj_AmtraX and I both had the same problem. It is the door seal, not the B-pillar. It gets fixed with the 3M wet-type silicone as described here.

I actually had this B pillar noise awhile ago and fixed it removing the plastic garnish that runs up the B-pillar from the floor and then put some adhesive backed felt on all clips. Worked perfectly. The sound I remember hearing sounded like plastic contacting each other due to a very small amount of clearance between the lower garnish clip and upper garnish slot.

I'm going to take my car in Monday or Tuesday to have bunch of stuff checked. Including the rattles, b pillars, creek, squeaks, etc. Mainly for the reason that I think my shocks have weakened/broken. I live in California, it used to not happen, but now everytime I go over those white-small bumps/dots on Cali freeways I can feel them and at the same time rattles or cracks from the center panel are taking a toll on me.
Thanks for the info regarding B pillar, I'll glans through my car.

Use the exact same procedure they describe for the sunroof on your door seal. Believe it or not, the sound seems to be coming from the B pillar itself, right out of the hole where the seatbelt goes in, but in my case and Dj_AmtraX's case, a judicious application of silicone made the noise completely disappear.
My symptoms were: most noticeable between 25 and 45 mph over smooth roads with rough finishes (pebble grain surface). It was most noticeable in the driver's side, but appeared in the passenger's side after time. It has been gone for a long time now and has only begun to reappear after many washes and many miles.
