Default DVD Audio/ML question

Ok so I have a noob DVD audio question. My IS350 should be arriving soon and it has the ML/NAV audio. Now I know that DVD audio sounds much better than a normal burnt cd or a store bought cd. I was curious to know if I can burn a DVD with DVD quality audio and play that in the ML. Of course this would leave me the task of finding DVD quality audio over the net, which i think may be impossible.

Does everyone just buy DVD audio from the store and play it in the ML? I am a complete noob (as you can tell) when it comes to DVD audio so any help would be appreciated.

I don't own a Lexus (yet), but I have a lot of dvd-audio discs. Dvd-audio discs have two folders on them: first the audio ts folder contains the higher resolution dvd-audio music. This folder generally can't be copied due to a watermark they put on it. The second folder is the video ts folder which contains the same surround mix in dolby digital, dts or both. The video ts can be copied in the same way as normal movie dvd's. You can find dvd-audio discs on amazon, circuit city, cduniverse, buy.com, etc. I rip the dts or dolby digital tracks from my discs and make my own dvd's with whatever songs I choose, much in the way you would traditionally with cd's, but with much better sound in 5.1 surround.
Any questions, let me know...

The process to burn DVD's so that you can play it in your car's system is complicated. Do a search on here and you'll find plenty of information on how you can do it. But the easiest and most worthy option is to buy DVD-Audio discs or just plain DVD's. The places that Elshagon recommended are good places to find DVD-Audio discs. Whether you buy DVD-Audio discs or just plain DVD's, make sure you get them in either DTS or Dolby Digital formats or else you won't get the full benefits of the ML system.

And oh, welcome to the 350 Club.
