Default Has this ever happened to you?

I was in my is 250 about to make a right turn. The car in front of me was waiting until there an opening to make the right turn. When there was an opening it started going forward .... i then look left and see a car in the distance coming in the right lane but i had plenty of time to make the turn so i floor it ... look forward only to see the car still in front of me! i slam on the brakes and come within millimeters of it .... i was like .... i just had my tsib for my brakes so they werent even fully broken in ... aside from that i am just thankful someone was on my side today ....

yep i hate when people stop at a stop sign, go, and then later stop again, I'm looking at the traffic usually after I see them take off and I have come close and hit one person

Question, once you replace your brake you gotta floor it again for the break in period?

it happens. Just be more careful next time. Before you proceed with the right turn, look where you are going first. Don't look left and press the accelerator to make a right turn. Look towards the direction you are going before moving the car. There could be a pedestrian, bicyclist, or another car in front of you. so watch out.

I don't think pads have break in periods. It's the main brake assembly, MBC, etc.

Actually it does. You should lightly apply your breaks for the first 300-500 miles so the pads do not glaze. It is also recommended not to wash your car during this break in period as well.

I have actually hit someone in a similar situation. I hate people not moving when the traffic is clear.. cause I was looking to my right (driving in Msia) and thought the driver in front of me has already left, Stepped on the Gas just to see the A hole is messing around with this Radio!!!

Anyways the damage was not bad.. number plate covers broke and a little scratch on his paint! I offerred to polish it up for him but he changed his mind and left.. Thank God..

Now I am very careful at this junctions!!!!

Not in my IS, but yea I have had that happen before. Never a good thing and always makes me glad I at least checked in front of me again.
