just get the oil change. I just hit 10k and told Lexus to just change the oil, nothing else.

Nah - most people that have money are smart with it, and not eager to toss it away.

JM Lexus is doing a synthetic blend oil change and wheel balancing for $39.95. So yeah, $165 for same is a little much.

That was sort of my point....what oil/filter can the dealer or shop put in your car for $25 and still make a decent amount of profit?

What I should have said is that if it was my car, I would be putting in better oil than either the shop or dealer would.

It's depend on what car you have. If you have awd then you can rotate your tires.
You should do it yourself and save money. Go to walmart buy oil, go to toyota dealer and buy oil filter. Go home do it yourself, or ask your friend, who knows how to change oil to do it for you.
If your car is awd, then you can rotate tires by yourself. If it is rwd, then forget it.
All the "inspection" are useless. They just take a quick look at your fluids, and all that crap...

In my opinion, just do an Oil Change! I have 23K miles and
so far, I did my oil changes every 5K miles! I am also thinking
of skipping the 30K service and do my major service at 60K
First major service at 60k sounds about right...

I will be changing my oil for the first time in about a month here, once I hit 10k miles... I'll do a full blackstone analysis for you guys too...
