The Navigation on my IS seems to act kinda funny.
I entered a destination that is in the East when I was facing West. Guess what? It shows the destination is in 30 mi. When I turned around facing East side, it shortened to 15 mi. Does your Navigation work this way as well?

Sounds like just a random routing issue. I think in your case it might have assumed you were on the road driving and that it would have to route you all the way around various turns and areas and such to get back going in the direction you needed to go to get to your destination. Also on top of that did you perhaps have certain preferences set such that you only wanted to take freeways, highways, or surface street only? That can cause the nav to route miles out of the way just to comply to your preferences.

Hmm...
I allowed most of options on my nav. It works fine most of times, but it was just a few times that freaked me out because I knew it was like really close, but it showed it as much further.
I wish the navigation has an option to announce like "make a u-turn!" or "turn around" or something. hehe..

It does tell you to 'make a u-turn' in some situations. But, you have to be "under guidance" before that would happen, and it would have to have recalculated the route as being on the same road, but in the opposite direction (like when you miss the only turn for many miles).
