Default Washed your keyfob yet?

Any of you all forgot your key fob in your pocket yet? Not that I have but I am curious... I came close once, though! LOL

someone actually washed it once and it still worked. i think someone also cracked it open and found that the internals were encased in some rubber thing.

It's probably meant to be water resistant, not water-proof....

I did it!!! I accidently left in the washing machine overnight after being washed. I found out later in the morning. I was freaked out!!! I almost put my keyfob in the clothes dryer that morning.... Lucky me!!! It still works fine as of today

That's something!

I've always worried about this also. I had no idea Lexus' key fobs came with their own rubber! I feel protected now.

Cheers,

Good to know. I was thrown into a slip n' slide with the keyfob in my pocket. after I got up and beat up my friend. THen, i noticed my keys were missing. And it was still on the slip n slide pathway. So i went back and dove into the slip n slide and grabbed my keys. My keyfob still works.

Mine fell into a huge puddle of water when it was pouring one night. It still works fine after a month.
