A sad day... (dealer says Glacier Frost Mica color discontinued)

The dealer says because Lexus doesn't charge extra for the colour, it wasn't feasible for them to make it...
I would have assumed so since the three stage paint would usually be an added option for most companies.

I wouldn't believe everything the dealer says. They might be just trying to get you to purchase something they have on the lot. You wouldn't believe the fake stories dealers would tell me when I was trying to purchase my specific car.

Why even talk to a dealer about Lexus specs when they are available straight from the horse's mouth...the Lexus website, which can be printed out and taken to the stonewalling dealer. As others have said, dealers will tell you anything...as long as it is in their interests. It never ceases to amaze me the dependance by some CL members on suspect dealer info, and to some degree other uninformed CL members, when the official info is so readily available. Come on guys, we are all intelligent people, after all we all bought a Lexus product....use those smarts!

If true, it could be because Glacier Frost Mica is very hard to color match, not only for body shops, but also for Lexus when cars are damaged before delivery.
Great color, but I wouldn't pay extra for it.
Oh, and I'm shocked with all the cynicism about dealerships.
