Default CD/DVD player is eating my discs...

So, after watching "Little Miss Sunshine," the DVD player will not spit out any disc, nor let me insert a new one. I can sometimes change between CDs/DVDs (mostly, it just gets stuck trying to read a disc), but I can't eject/insert any other ones.

I called my dealer to get an appointment to get it checked, but they said that they'll replace the whole DVD changer unit. They just ordered it without looking at my car, and will call me for an appointment when it arrives to install it.

Was there a TSB regarding this issue? I am completely unaware of it...

ouch. first your nav going haywire, now your CD/DVD changer?

only issue i've heard about the mark levinson system (which i assume is on your car) - in here, too - is that the amp overheats.

but nothing about the CD/DVD changer screaming "FEED ME!!!"...

sorry to hear about your issues w/ your 2is.

btw, how was "little miss sunshine"?

Highly recommend to watch the movie. It's hilarious!

I don't have any issues with the amp (yet), but this is the first time the CD changer went buck wild. Hopefully, while changing it, they don't notice the nav hack...

So--you just sit in the car for 2 hrs and watch a movie? On an 8 inch screen? What does that do to the car's battery?

Theoretically, yes. I just sit in the car for a couple of hours a day watching movies.

Realistically, I have an hour commute sometimes. Nav hack was done. I play the DVD for my carpool buddies. One hour one way to work, and they finish the movie going back home. Get the most bang for the buck (or for the 4000 bucks for the Nav+ML system).
