Just went for my 25k service on my IS 250 AWD and the dealer is telling me that not only are my front brakes worn out but the rotors need replacement too .. He said this will cost me 575 +tax... Doesn't that sound high? Anyone have a suggestion where else I should go? I live in NJ.
Thanks

Doesn't all the dust on your wheels bother you?? It should. Take the TSIB relating to this problem and ask for new pads. No time or mileage limit. That will save you some money.

It's not usual. I have nearly 35k on mine and the rotors are only 10% worn.

thanks for the link...i'm gonna have the dustless pads put on at my 5k service. i don't mind cleaning my wheels once a week while it's summertime, but when winter rolls around i'm not going to be able to.
