Awesome. thanks. Just let me know when you are in the area so we can meet up. I went to rvinyl.com but I don't see the kit to smokeout the taillights. I found the red-out kit. do you know how to install the smoke tailight tint kit also? I think I wanna smokeout the lights instead of just the red-out.

I can't believe so many people are willing to sacrifice safety to make their tail lights look plain. I guess if the tail lights were all red they would be changed to amber turn signals. I'm so glad they are amber. I think it should be the law. When I'm turning or have an emergency I want every advantage of someone seeing me.

IMO, if all red tail lights were proven to be a danger, amber turn signals WOULD be the law. Because they are not, many car makers don't make them (including Lexus on their other newer models) and to me, the matching red turn signal is just as visible, and much more clean looking.

Had them on about 2 weeks now - LOVE THEM. Yeah...having a 10,000 candle-power bulb on each light to indicate emergencies & turns would be...safer...but these pass inspection just fine so I am happy. FWIW, I also blacked out the "Lexus" and "IS250" emblems.
My wife liked them so much she decided to go with the lighter "smoke" color for her IS.
Feel free to peruse my flickr acct & comment on my other public pics - I'm always looking for feedback.
