Get it from Sewell and install it yourself. It's relatively straightforward and all the installation is in the trunk, you don't have to touch the head unit. Save yourself some money.

You can see the price (don't forget the CL discount, which will pay for the TX sales tax) is only $299.00, and you can review the instructions, too.

Lexus charges $486 for this if ordered as a Port Installed Option, so a dealer shouldn't be charging much more than $500 to install it for a customer. $1000 is outrageous.

DYI install. Some people run the antenna inside the back window, I put mine on the front center of the trunk door I get better reception than I did inside the glass. I think the new shipments of the Lexus kit don't have the antenna incuded because of the sharkfin on the 07's, you'll have to do a phone order to ask for one to be included. Do a search there are quite a few threads.

In that case try calling Lexus of Austin and see if they will do it more reasonably, it might be worth an hours drive up IH-35. Failing that any good car audio shop should be able to do it at reasonable cost.

Just an FYI guys, I just got the XM kit for an 07 and will be doing a pretty complete DIY thread on the install. Give me a day or so and keep your eyes open for it.

And if your interested 287 bucks for everything you need and the install only took about an hour and half and I was going slowly and taking pics.

Wow, that's still too much. Buy that thing from Sewell and install it yourself. It's literally plug and play. The hardest part of the install is actually the removal of all the panels that line the trunk (if you want to call that hard).

You need to work some kind of deal. I got mine installed when I got the car. They wanted 750 and I got it for 350 installed.

No, parts are only 287 shipped and can you really find a dealer to sell it to you and install it for 430 bucks?

Alright, I only saw one person who said something about installing XM in an 07 which was different since it has the shark fin and integrated antenna. When I spoke to the dealer, they quoted me around $650 which was just to cover shipping and they were going to install for free...

I have an '07 350 and want the factory satellite receiver which to my knowledge (from what my salesman told me) plugs into the back of the head unit. Please let me know what I need to get XM up and going.
