The 6 speed manual TSX would be interesting though since it weighs about 200 lbs less than the IS250 and probably has less drivetrain loss due to being FWD.

i actually own a 2004 Acura TSX but i just placed a deposit for a 2008 IS250 sport package. But i test drove a 2007 IS250 without sport suspension. In all honesty i really like both cars the Acura TSX has alot more room in the backseat compared to the Lexus also the TSX has a stiffer suspension which i prefer but the Lexus is alot more refined in the luxury department.
In terms of the motor the TSX had all its power up top in the powerband you really need to step on the gas to get the speed whereas the Lexus V configured engine provided more torque and power early on. If i were to track the lexus and acura together it would be tough. The lexus can get out of corners much quicker but the tsx has the better handling. In my opinion.
