Default Confused About Option Packages

A dealer sent me the following; however, I am wondering why is it more (about 1k in invoice price) if you configure it this way in lieu of the Sport package(ST) with naviagtion. Don't they come with the same contents? I was trying to figure out the invoice using costco auto site

MSRP: $43,628
Includes:
Other Includes:
13 Speakers
6-Disc CD Changer
AM/FM CD Changer
Back-up Monitor
Bluetooth & Voice Activation
Navigation System
Cargo Net, Trunk Mat, Wheel Locks
High Intensity Headlamps

XM Satelite Radio
X Package with Sunroof Includes:
18" Five-Spoke Alloy Wheels With Summer Tires
Alloy Pedals
Front Lip Spoiler
Illuminated Scuff Plates
Sport-tuned Suspension

But, if you take advantage of our special Costco rates*, this vehicle can be yours for a mere

Check your numbers again. The Sports Pkg should be more expensive than the X-pkg because the Sports also includes memory seats and magic wipers. BTW, that costco deal is probably at least $1500 more than what the car would cost if you negotiate yourself at the dealer in CA.

Find a broker...you can generally get the car at dealer cost (which is generally less than invoice) plus the comission to the broker (est $500 or so).

When I was looking for my '06 the local (Portland OR) broker could only find a dealer that would get him a car was in CA (Riverside I seem to remember).

Now that the car isn't 'new and hot' you should be able to get one pretty easily via a broker.
