My IS350 after 3 months... Special Thanks for Xenon Depot + Road Magnet + Status Auto
Hey guys,
Been on the board for 3 months since I got my IS350, just thought I'd finally take some pictures of the car.
First I'd like to thank Steve at Xenon Depot for his amazing 6000k HID replacement bulbs. Steve was gracious enough to sell me some 6000k HID's, and included in this thread will be pictures of everything installed up to date.
Second, I'd like to thank Mark of Road Magnet of Baltimore, MD for his custom lowering springs, which are built to every owners specific requests. This is PERFECT for members who want to lower their car, ensure there is NO rubbing, as well as choose their own exact lowering amount. I had requested these springs to lower the car 1.5" Front / 1.2" Rear, and he did a perfectly amazing job. There is absolutely NO rub with my rims/tires. So anyone looking for lowering springs, please consider Road Magnet of Baltimore, as his springs are USA made, and extremely high quality.
Finally, I'd like to thank Rick at Status Auto Designs in CA for hooking me up with some Work T1S's. As most of us know these rims have a 10 week wait, somehow Rick had some connections and got me a set within 10 days instead of 10 weeks. These rims are absolutely beautiful, and in my opinion retains the "classiness" of the car, while giving it a more aggressive stance. Couldn't be happier!
Now for the pictures.. First we'll start off with a few teasers...
These are the rims prior to install:
Now here are the OEM HID vs the Xenon Depot 6000k HID. These pictures were taken at side angles so you can see the color rather than be blinded by it.
OEM HID Kit (4300k):
Now these are the Xenon Depot 6000k's. These pictures were taken after letting the bulbs turn on, and settle after 15 seconds. These pictures are NOT the warm up phase when you first turn them on and they are very blue/purple. When you initially turn your HID's on, the look like 8000k's, but then with any HID's, change to their real color after 10-15 seconds.

Overall, I can't be happier with these 6000k bulbs. I honestly feel that Lexus should have made Xenon Depots 6000k's their OEM bulbs. They look much better without reducing the light visibility much. I'd say maybe a 5-7% decrease of light, if that. It's not noticable at all, and the light output color is just amazing. I was happy with the OEM HID's but after seeing the 6000k's, wow what a difference!! Not being bias or promoting Steve/Xenon Depot, but these bulbs are just fantastic and I highly highly recommend them to everyone.
Here are some pictures of the 6000k's at night time after the warm up stage:
Just look at that amazing bluish tinted light.. just perfection. Also notice I have LED's for my parking lights, which are rated at being pure white, about 6000k's, which helps slightly enhance the headlight appeal. Instead of the stock wedge bulbs putting out yellow light and making the HID's look yellowish, these compliment the bulbs perfectly.
And now, for the car pictures...
(Yay for Red-Outs. Honestly, these change the car so much. As simple of a modification it is, it IMO makes the rear much more aggressive and clean. Should be like this OEM.. down with orange!)

Very nice Rick, I'm glad you got your rims. Cant wait to get mine either. You going to OC this weekend? I'd go but cant get off work.
The HID looks good too!
btw did u installed the tpms on these? If you did and you run the stock wheels during winter, wouldnt the warning light come on then?
