Default POLL: Chrome or Performance (machined, coated, painted) rims on ISx50?

In your opinion, would you prefer chrome rims or performance/sporty (machined, coated, painted, treated, etc.) rims.

CHROME
Works with luxury cars and matches the chrome trim.

PERFORMANCE/SPORTY
Enforces the ISx50's sporty performance and matches its razor sharp styling.

Depends on what you want to use the car for, show go chrome, race go lite weight. Depends on the car too, if i had a 250 i would go chrome, since i have a 350 i can choose either... myself thou... hmm... i do wanna see what our cars would look like with old skool centerline drag rims thou

It really depends on what you want...

I prefer chrome. 80% of the people on this forum will prefer performance. Oh well...

I like good chrome for ease of care. Most clear coated wheels either fade, peel, or scratch. JMO.

It's all personal preference, depending on what 'look' you are after. Chrome is more luxury, and the other type finishes are more utilitarian and performance oriented. If you see your ride as a luxury car chrome is a good choice. In the end maintenance is probably similar, each has its advantages and disadvantages in durability and ease of keeping clean. No right or wrong. I generally don't like chrome, but that doesn't mean anything.

If you're conflicted to the point of needing a poll, why not find some performance chrome wheels.....that way you have both.

Get some performance 2 or 3 piece wheels and get a combo of finishes. I have Chrome lips with Brushed/Clear Coated Centers...and Satin Black inner barrels (I hated cleaning the inside of the wheels).
