Thumbs down

Sorry, but to me those rims look like my car after a week or two of brake dust build up before I have a chance to wash it off.

Infiniti gave me, along with fellow 2003-4 G35 coupe AT owners, unconditional free brake pad and rotor replacement for the first 36,000 miles. But the dust buildup remained. I’m at 58,000 miles now and I still have to go out there and wipe or wash it off, especially on the fronts, at least once a week. Take a look at G35’s or 350Z’s on the road if you get a chance. You’re bound to notice how darker the front wheels look, even at freeway speeds. I hate that look, and certainly wouldn’t paint my rims to emulate it.

I have a black IS & was thinking about painting the wheels the same kind of black that the car is - I want all-black wheels & I already love the stock ones. How much do you think it would run to paint the wheels w/o repair?

Also, has anyone ever seen the stock 18s painted black or a "blacked out" IS at all? Every black IS w/black wheels I've seen has the silver lip on the wheels & I really don't want that...

imo you should get some spacers to make the rim flush with the fender like Letz250's car its looks really good and it makes the stance in the back look wider...
