July 06'

50k miles.

25k miles of car eibach lowered. Rides just like the sport suspension which is a bit more firm, but not bouncy. I just posted that they fixed my dash crack noise, but other than that, the car is very tight. Feels like the first day I got it. The clutch was notchy/crappy from day 1 so it's the same. I had the break TSB done which helped alot with dust, but doesn't stop as quick. I'm also ready for another set of pads and probably rotors just before 60k miles. Tires are tires, it's how you drive but I got upper 20k miles on my dunlops, then I changed to 2 sets of wheels and tires that will get about the same treadlife. I haven't had any rattles, but I don't drive in the city much.

Aprrox. 65k miles.

I purchased my 2006 IS 350 in October 2005
I have been commuting from LA to Irvine for work for 2+ years now but just moved into Irvine yesterday.

My car is paid off but since I am out of warranty, and my navigation system keeps losing position, do you think now would be a good time to sell/trade my car in and purchase another car that would have maintenance covered?

I am tired of paying the high cost for Lexus service!

I would say just keep it. The IS is capable to last way passed the 100k mile mark. As for the Navi I think there is a TSIB for this, but I'm not sure if the dealer is allowed to do TSIB's for cars out of warrenty. You have to look into that to make sure.
