HAHAHA...you never lived in California. CCW? NEVER unless you are a cop. There were a total of SIX in all of Sacramento County, about 1.5M people, who were not cops.
Well, not surprising that the people's republic of california has more hoops.
Anybody else notice these posts are mostly from people in states with strict gun laws?
I wouldn't do that crap in Georgia. They might very well have a gun in the glovebox (legally) and decide you are threatening them. Not a pretty sight. I'm so glad I left CA! People here are MUCH more polite.

While this is getting off topic; it is not impossible to get a conealed weapons permit in California. It all depends on the county you live in and the sheriff of that county. In Tehema county for instance it is very easy. Just go down the the Sheriff Dept, fill out an application, pay your $200, take a course, and get your permit. This site has information by county: http://www.californiaconcealedcarry.com/counties.html
While it seems that the rural countuies are more lax about the permit, it isn;t impossible in other counties.
i moved to texas 7 years ago. People always seem to drive friendly. Maybe it is because we have easy access to ccw and you just never know who you flip/cut off, so you better be polite!
i would rather live in antarctica than be around all those **** and nuts lol.
I'll stay in New England. A cool 54 degrees right now. Not bad for the middle of the day in August. Not to rub it in or anything since I know you guys south of DC (especially NC) are probably melting.
I did get flipped off by a Cali PT Cruiser on I5 in Oregon today, anyone notice that PT Cruiser drivers are definitely some of the worst? Fortunately with my tinted windows people are usually decent to me because they can't see how many people are in my car.

You hit the nail on the head Lance. I don't want to turn this into a political debate so I'll just stop there.

Walk from home to car = 6 seconds
Walk from car to work = 24 seconds
Walk the above in reverse = 30 seconds
A/C everywhere else = priceless.
