Ya I agree. I should just name the price and not mention any invoice price at all. I'm hoping to get a IS350 with Premium Pkg for $29,000. I know someone posted they got the same car for $29100 in SF area a few months back. So I'm hoping to do the same here in SoCal.

If you don't know what the dealer paid for it (~invoice price) you don't know if your OTD price is good or not. You must know what the unit cost the dealer to gauge your deal. Otherwise, if we both shop for the same car and I get it for $2k less than you I definitely got a better deal than you. But if you are just gauging it on the OTD price all you are measuring is your pocketbook thickness and how much you are willing to pay.

Agreed. Also, tax, title, and license varies widely by state. So it's easier to judge your deal by comparing it to how others did relative to invoice or MSRP, rather than OTD.

Are you saying someone got a new IS350 with Premium Package for $29,100 OTD? That can't be right.

^^^ I think he might mean the IS250 instead or $39,100 instead of $29,100.

I don't think you can even get an IS250 for $29,100 OTD. At least I've never read a price anywhere near that on this site. I got mine for about that much before TTL, which from what I've read is a very good deal.

Well he didn't really say it was $29,100 out the door. He just said the guy got it at that price.

I meant an IS250 for $29,100 + TTL. It was posted on the official MSRP poll here.

I think it's possible. IS250 with premium package for $29,000 before ttl. That would be around $32,000 out the door. Some are getting it for $33,000 out the door so it shouldn't be too far off.

That's very different than what you previously posted. An IS250 with Premium Package is very possible for near that price. I only paid a few hundred more and I didn't even try very hard.

JackBlack, how much did you get your IS250 and with what package if you don't mind me asking? I'm just curious because I'm going to try and get one this weekend. An IS250 with Premium Plus Package, maybe with HID and 18" wheel.

I think that's exactly what I got. IS250 with Premium (perforated leather, heated/ventilated front seats, wood trim), adaptive HID headlights, 18" wheels, plus accessory package (cargo net, wheel locks, trunk mat). Comes out to an MSRP of $35,222. I got mine for $29,486+TTL. I've heard of people doing a few hundred better, but I didn't work hard at all for my price. I just sent a few emails and took the best price I got.

Thanks for the help. I'll try and get that price or even less if possible. It just sucks though that in my area, none of the dealerships wants to give out qoutes through the phone or e-mails, it's either you go there in person or nothing.

I'll start heading to the dealers in an hour or two and see what I get. Thanks again for the info.

Update us when you get back. I'm going tomorrow to the dealerships to see what kind of deal I can get. Sometimes it might be better to do the deal the last weekend of the month since they might might be very open to dealing this early in the month. Just have to see.

^^^ I was thinking of the same thing but I just want to make sure I don't run out of '07 IS250 since deals on these are better since they're trying to get rid of it.

I'll try and keep it updated and see what deals I can get.
