Hey i am in process of rebuilding my salvage......so i have the car gutted

I want to take advantage of this oppurtunity.....

Should i get a suede headliner....or leather.......or nothing??

ANy suggestions?

Also those guys with the rattles.....where are they the most common....i will install with mono foam ...LOL

I would go with suede, or alcantara. You see in in the headliners of all the high dollar Benzes and Audis now. However, the only bone I have to pick with doing a Alcantara headliner is that usually, I guess, you do it in black, which makes the gray upper console and grab handles look a bit out of place.

I would prefer the sleek semi-glossy look and feel of leather over suede...

I've been considering this idea for my headliner too. Whats the difference between Alancantra and Suede anyways? Suede is a tad thicker and much more feeling right? I'd go with black alacantra for the headliner.. sexy..~

Suede - hard to clean/keep it clean.....

In its simplest terms: Suede = real leather, Alcantara = synthetic suede type material. For a headliner I'd go with the Alcantara as the tactile feel is of less importance. It looks good and easier to keep clean than suede.

If the color of your interior is black, get some black suede. It will look awesome!
