I wonder if more 250 owners floor it than 350. Maybe 250 dont get enough power?

My trips are so short (usually less than 20 minutes) that the car doesn't warm up enough for me to floor it without being rough on the engine. Though when I do floor it, it's a heavenly feeling.

Hey, I resemble that...both the sleeper IS and the mustang driver.

Pretty amazing that my IS will go toe-to-toe with my GT (or so it seems using the butt dyno and the needle sweep method).

Err... theres no way my is350 will go toe to toe with my LX 5.0... BUT if the road gets twisty then for sure the 350 will win.

Not to go off topic, but bench racing shows that a stock 05 GT vert and a stock 06 IS350 have very similar 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. I think one may feel faster than another because of the HUGE difference in the way they drive and the way the power comes on.

I'm just trying to find the time (and place) to pit the two next to each other, or just use a G-tech to compare.

BTW, fox-body LX 5.0 = .

I floor my IS350 an awful lot, at least a few times on every occasion i drive. My city mileage is about 14-16mpg.

On-ramps are just awesome! I'll get on the freeway randomly if I know there's a decent on-ramp close by

My friend in another car and I both went to bust out some donuts a couple nights ago in an empty parking lot. I was a little afraid for the paint etc because it's black and brand new (i don't even have plates yet), but thankfully there were no chips or anything. It was so easy with power braking.. we had a great time!

It still amazes me that ppl buy the IS350 and then claim they never floor it. I just dont see why buy the expensive "powerful" model and then never use it. Kind of like ppl that buy the 760 beemer instead of the 745 just because. It makes no sense to me. Now i know the majority of ppl dont buy the bigger engines and not use them but there always are those ppl, mindboggling. Back on topic, i floor mine when the opportunity arises.
