Just fyi... that Lexus key chain is the worse one out there. I had two of those for the 07 RX350 and they both came unglued. Before you loose a key, you may want to get another key chain. There is a reason why the dealership gave it away.

I wondered that, I pulled on it pretty hard and it held maybe the bearings wear out after time, will keep an eye on it, thanks.

I/we had two of those Lexus key chains and after only a few months with minimal wear and tear, the metal loop part detached from both of them. The metal ring is lightly glued to the part that has the Lexus logo on it.
