OK, I have this weird creek/crackling noise in my IS that I just cannot find! I think its coming from underneath the drivers seat, and its only audible when I make sharp left turns and when the car is straightening after a turn. But upon inspection of the seat and shaking it around,moving it all over, I cant find the cause of the noise.

Let's list all known rattles and noise locations so all members will now know where to look for in the event that one is heard. I'll start with what I've found in my car:

-Center console near vents, but only in winter
-Center arm rest, sliding cover and rear center ashtray
-Stereo and Nav area, try pressing on it, it'll crackle
-Seat?

Let's keep this going....

You are aware that there is a TSIB for a squeaky driver seat.

Thanks Evitzee...this could be the problem...but lets keep this list going...im sure there's bound to be more squeeks all over..

Rattle from center dash, right where the center speaker cover is. In fact, when you lightly press the cover, the rattle goes away. It is louder when the temp outside is colder and by colder I mean about < 70 degress ( I'm from socal). As far as I know it's an issue with some clips and requires removal of dash. I have taken it several times to the dealership with no luck.
