Why buy the M3 now when you can get the new and much faster M3 very soon for only a little more? Also, the new 335 is as fast (stock) and can be easily modded to run faster (on par with the new M3). Sweet ride, just not sure this is the best time to buy the outgoing and outdated model. Did you get a sweet deal at least?

I dont want to make this into a M3 vs 335i thread, but you really dont think the M3 can beat a modded 335i?? Dont get me wrong the M3 is hella quick but once parts start pouring our for the E92, its gonna kill certain M3s.

I am not trying to be a ****. but i dont think it really matters. if i wanted a fast as crap car, i would buy a corvette z06. i like his m3, he has a very nice bike. one of the best 600s if not THE best. i personally think he has a great setup. yeah the twin turbo is nice. but there is much more to buying a car than speesd. granted you have great handling in both cars, the M3 takes the cake in overall handling plus he has stated that the M3, in his opinion, looks better. sounds to me that you got the perfect car for the one that it is important to....YOU. good pick up.
and you can go back and forth all day long about what car is better, but it really comes down to personal pref. This is the same in the motorcycle community. suzuki vs yamaha vs honda vs blah blah. Bikes are FAST. they all are. What one do you like most. Buy that one. same with cars. how often are you going to care that your car is slower than the twin turbo....unless you race it every weekend.

well i may be a rookie on this site but i am not new to forums. i have more miles on two wheels than most have on four. i dont mean to sound like a butt. that was not my intention. i just have heard this same old arguement before and it doesnt go anywhere. i agree that the twin turbo is quite nice. but i personally wouldnt own one. if speed and handling were more important to me than reliability i would prolly pick one up....but that is an entirely different debate right there. however i do admire both the twin turbo and the M. very nice cars.
