Finally..I have my own IS250 now....
I finally pulled the trigger today and leased a new 07 IS250 with Premium/NAV/XM (TP with black interior). It's been a long week trying to look for the best deal out there. It seems inventory is low on these and dealers aren't dealing like they did back a few months. I had received a $500 coupon from a local dealer that I was working with. I managed to use that after I we had settled on a purchase price. Although they didn't take it off the cap cost they did deduct off of my drive-off. So in the end I got the car for $32500 considering other dealers were quoting me between $33,400 - $33,900 for similar vehicle. So far driving it back home it's such a smooth ride. The power is definetely there and it does have a kick to it when you press the pedal (compared to a MB C230 sport I test drove). I definetely made the right choice.

Plus it looks a whole lot better than the C230. Just waiting for the "this is useless with out pictures" emoticons.

HAHA..you beat me to the punch.
Congrats, you got a good deal after stressing about it for so long now.
I'm glad they honored the $500 extra discount. Whether it came off the cap cost or the drive off it's all good as it comes off the bottom line. The only difference is had you used the TOS coupon it has to go in as a cap reduction/down payment only because that's the way Lexus can ensure the dealership doesn't "hide" the money.
Now get out there and start driving!

Yep, glad you finally got your butt into an IS. It's all good. When you stop driving post some pics.
As far as pricing goes I walked the lot at a Houston dealership on Sunday and their stock of IS's was very, very low. They had seven on the lot, only one of them had Nav. Usually they would have 20-25 Is's on the lot. In fact their entire stock of Lexus's was lower than normal. If that is a trend I'm not surprised the deals aren't quite as good as they were in the recent past. They'll probably glide right from the 2007's to the 2008's with no messy leftovers to deal with.
