Nice new squealing... consistent yet not continous.
Well time to schedule an appointment. Car has 26,000 miles. Original tires and brakes.
Front driver side wheel or tire or brake is squealing.
Basically it is as the wheel turns, there is a spot that squeals. Sounds like a grinding squeal. It changes tempo as I go faster or slower. Does not stop when I apply the brakes. Can only be heard if I am driving next to another car/wall/anything to reflect the sound back at me. This is in addition to a small brake squeal when applying brakes.
My guess is a worn rotor, slightly warped, whose lip is hitting something on the brake pad.
Any guesses as to what could cause a consistent, yet not continous squeal noise from a wheel region?
