I just got my IS250 yesterday and I have the standard audio. I played the radio and then some CD's and it seems that the volume output is very low. I need to get it at levels of 35+ to get it to a level where I can hear almost normal sound quality? Is there something wrong here or is it just the way the system is setup being in that it has 13 speakers? Coming from a G35 which had Bose audio I would only need to get the volume up to the 15-20 for it to be super loud. But then again that was only 7 speaker system. Anyone can give some feedback on this matter.

I agree that you do have to get up to the high 30s low 40s to get it loud, but beyond that it gets really loud. Lexus just gave more listening levels.

I always listen to the music in the 45-55 levels anything below those levels is too low for me

You guys listen to your radios real loud. Even when I'm by myself I'm pretty content with listening at around 25-28. It's also low enough that my rear view mirror doesn't vibrate.

I do think Lexus did a nice job of giving their volume level a good amount of range. I wonder how much higher they go though, probably around 60-70?

lexus did that so you can hear all the rattles in the car.
Not alone I also set it in the 40+ specially in AUX.

Is 55 the max level for volume or does it go higher than that??

goes up to level 60.. at least in AUX mode. i would imagine that is standard across all modes though.

when my ipod is hooked up to aux, i have to crank it to 45-55.
