Thanks for putting really good tires on our cars from the factory Lexus (except those Turanzas they're using now...)
I know the tires have a lot to do with it, but I do have the Turanzas...

I just put Bridgestone RE050A Pole Positions on my car, and they are wonderfully quiet, slide predictably, and grip within a few fractions of a percent of the class leading Michelin PS2s. They're quite a bit cheaper than the Michelins too, and according to Tire Rack testing, they work just a little better in the rain. I would highly recommend them for your next set after the Turanzas, you'll be very favorably impressed.

I've had really bad luck with Bridgestone treadlife. I'll probably go with the PS2s, GSD3s or perhaps contisportcontact3's.

Not knocking the company, but I'll be interested in hearing your opinion of these tires again, but at 10-12k or so, to see how they hold up for you.

There's a huge difference between the RE050 that comes stock and the RE050A PP. The RE050A PP is MUCH quieter than the RE050s I took off, and the RE050 were getting louder as they wore.

Lance,

Good to know.....Thanks for the info!

In that case, maybe I should sell my RE050 set right now and get the RE050A PP!

Yep brake is really grabby. I am still adjusting to it. Most of the time my braking is jerky and not smooth cause I can never quite figure out the correct pressure.... Well, one of these days I will learn. Meanwhile, now I am hesitant to do the brake TSIB

^^one of the benefits of the TSIB pads is they are more predictable and consistent. I like them MUCH better.
